The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Basiru, and the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, are currently briefing journalists at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

The press conference follows Thursday’s remarks by David Mark and centres on the ongoing leadership dispute within the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Addressing the media, the APC officials are responding to allegations raised by Senator Mark concerning the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to recognise a purported factional caretaker leadership of the ADC.

The development comes in the wake of a Court of Appeal judgment, which has further intensified the controversy surrounding the party’s leadership structure.
