President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described ongoing projects in Bayelsa State as more than physical infrastructure, saying they represent access, connectivity, and opportunity for the people.
Speaking during his visit to the state, the President noted that the New Yenagoa City Road 1 improves access, the Angiama–Oporoma Bridge enhances connectivity, while the Bayelsa Independent Power Project creates opportunities for growth and development.
He emphasised that government at all levels must remain focused on delivering projects that directly impact citizens, adding that the Federal Government will continue to work with states that prioritise the welfare of the people.
President Tinubu said such collaboration goes beyond physical development, as it also helps to build confidence in the nation’s future.
He commended the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, for his commitment to people-focused governance and development.
The President reaffirmed that Nigeria will continue to progress through sustained cooperation and shared commitment to the people’s well-being.
