The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the guidelines for its 2026 Presidential Primaries, alongside the composition of key electoral committees to oversee the conduct of the exercise. The party also announced the appointment of State Coordinators and Collation Officers as part of preparations for the primaries.

According to a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the decisions were approved by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party. The approvals were made in line with the APC Constitution, the Electoral Act, and the party’s commitment to ensuring a transparent and credible primary election process.

The APC stated that the newly released framework is intended to strengthen internal democracy and provide clear procedures for aspirants and stakeholders ahead of the presidential primaries.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a fair and orderly process that reflects its organisational principles and adherence to due process.
