



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended the International Fleet Review held in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Nigerian Navy.
The event, which formed part of activities marking the Navy’s platinum jubilee, brought together senior military officials, foreign naval representatives, government dignitaries, and other stakeholders in the maritime sector.
The International Fleet Review showcased the operational capabilities, professionalism, and achievements of the Nigerian Navy over the past seven decades, highlighting its contributions to national security, maritime safety, and regional stability.
President Tinubu’s presence at the ceremony underscored the administration’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s naval capabilities and supporting the Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation’s territorial waters and maritime assets.
The celebration also featured naval displays, fleet inspections, and other ceremonial activities to honour the service and sacrifices of officers and ratings of the Nigerian Navy since its establishment.
