Trump Accuses Biden Administration of Attacking Christians

Former U.S. President and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has once again accused President Joe Biden’s administration of attacking Christians. In a post on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Trump urged Pennsylvania residents to register to vote ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, citing what he described as an assault on Christianity by Biden’s government.

“Christians are under attack from this Administration, but many are still not registered! Tomorrow is the last day to register in Pennsylvania. Register now and vote early!!” Trump wrote, rallying his supporters to take action.

Trump’s accusations are part of an ongoing narrative he has pushed, alleging that Biden’s policies are hostile to religious believers. In March, Trump’s campaign criticized President Biden after he declared March 31 as International Transgender Day of Visibility, which coincided with Easter Sunday. Trump’s campaign viewed this as an affront to Christian values, accusing the administration of undermining religious faith.

In June, Trump further accused the Biden administration of persecuting Christians and Catholics, referencing the case of Paula Harlow, a 75-year-old woman sentenced to two years in prison for protesting outside a clinic. “Never again will the federal government be used to target religious believers,” Trump said in a previous statement.

As the 2024 presidential race heats up, Trump continues to rally his base around themes of religious freedom and government overreach, making voter registration a key focus in crucial battleground states like Pennsylvania.
