The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has established an early lead in the Rivers Southeast Senatorial District by-election, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently ahead in the Nasarawa North Senatorial District contest as vote collation continues.

Preliminary results from Rivers Southeast indicate that the PDP is performing strongly across several local government areas, positioning the party ahead of its rivals in the race for the vacant Senate seat.

In Nasarawa North, the APC has taken an early advantage, with results from a number of polling units and wards showing the ruling party in front as electoral officials continue the collation process.

The by-elections, conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), were held to fill vacant legislative seats in the affected constituencies. Electoral officials have maintained that the collation process is ongoing, with final outcomes expected upon the completion of result verification and announcement procedures.

Political parties and observers remain closely attentive as the final results are awaited in both senatorial districts.
