The All Progressives Congress (APC) has finalized its Senate candidates for Kaduna State after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) cleared key aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Among those cleared are former Senator Shehu Sani, former Kaduna State Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, and Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, who are expected to fly the party’s flag in their respective senatorial districts.

The development follows the conclusion of internal party processes and the submission of candidates’ details to INEC in line with electoral guidelines.

Party stakeholders have described the emergence of the candidates as a significant step in the APC’s preparations for the forthcoming elections in Kaduna State.

The finalization of the Senate tickets is expected to shape the political landscape in the state as parties intensify consultations and mobilization ahead of the 2027 polls.
