Member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Bello El-Rufai, has announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He disclosed the development in a statement shared on his social media page, noting that his decision to leave the ruling party was in line with his political direction and recent realignments within his camp.

Bello El-Rufai further stated that his move was influenced by the political path taken by his father, former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who recently aligned with the ADC.
