
The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Akwa Ibom State has commended Governor Umo Eno for the introduction of 20 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and the unveiling of the 350-bed Ibom International Hospital, describing both projects as strategic investments that will benefit future generations.
Speaking after the July State Projects Delivery Meeting at the Government House, Uyo, IPAC State Chairman, Blessing Umo, said the initiatives demonstrate the administration’s commitment to sustainable development, improved public services and the welfare of the people.
According to Umo, the CNG buses will provide residents with a more affordable, efficient and environmentally friendly means of transportation while advancing the state’s transition to cleaner energy.
She also described the 350-bed Ibom International Hospital as a landmark healthcare project that will strengthen access to quality medical services, reduce the need for medical tourism and position Akwa Ibom as a regional hub for advanced healthcare.
Umo said both projects represent long-term investments that will continue to improve the lives of residents and drive economic growth for years to come.
She urged citizens to support development initiatives regardless of political affiliation, stressing that collective commitment to progress is essential for the state’s continued growth.
