The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has stated that the party is under no pressure to court prominent political figures such as Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Speaking on the party’s position ahead of future political alignments, the chairman emphasized that the PRP remains focused on strengthening its internal structures and promoting its ideology rather than pursuing high-profile defections.

He noted that while the party remains open to welcoming new members, it would not compromise its principles or engage in desperate efforts to attract influential politicians from other platforms.

The PRP leadership maintained that its strategy is centered on grassroots mobilisation, policy-driven engagement, and building a credible alternative for Nigerians.

The chairman further stressed that the party’s long-term vision is to establish a strong, independent political force capable of competing effectively without relying on external pressure or elite-driven alliances.
