Rodri, Mbappé, Unai Simón Among Winners at 2026 FIFA World Cup

Spain capped a historic FIFA World Cup campaign by lifting the 2026 World Cup trophy after defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final, while several players and teams were recognised for their outstanding performances throughout the tournament.

The individual awards saw Spain’s Rodri named Golden Ball winner as the tournament’s best player, while France forward Kylian Mbappé claimed the Golden Boot after finishing as the competition’s top scorer with 10 goals.

Spain goalkeeper Unai Simón received the Golden Glove award, and young Spanish defender Pau Cubarsí was honoured as the Best Young Player of the tournament.
