
Vice President Kashim Shettima is scheduled to embark on a working visit to Ekiti State tomorrow as part of ongoing federal engagements aimed at strengthening collaboration with state governments.
The Vice President is expected to meet with the state governor, members of the executive council, and key stakeholders during the visit, where discussions will focus on governance, development priorities, and areas of federal–state cooperation.
According to official sources, the visit will also provide an opportunity to review ongoing projects and explore new initiatives aligned with the Federal Government’s development agenda.
Shettima is also expected to address stakeholders during the trip, with emphasis on economic growth, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment.
Security arrangements have been concluded ahead of the visit, while the state government has expressed readiness to receive the Vice President and his delegation.
The working visit is part of broader efforts by the Federal Government to deepen engagement with subnational governments and ensure effective implementation of policies across the country.
