Tottenham Sign Czech Goalkeeper Kinsky Amid Injury Crisis

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague on a deal running until 2031, the Premier League club confirmed on Sunday.

The 21-year-old’s move to Spurs is pending the approval of a work permit and international clearance. Kinsky’s arrival strengthens manager Ange Postecoglou’s options in goal, especially with first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario set for an extended period on the sidelines after undergoing surgery for a broken ankle in November.

Postecoglou has faced a series of injury setbacks with key players in recent weeks, and this week the squad was further depleted by an illness that left the manager with just 11 fit players available as of Thursday, ahead of their 2-1 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.

Second-choice goalkeeper Fraser Forster was one of those affected by the illness and missed the match against Newcastle, with 23-year-old Brandon Austin stepping in for his club debut.
