
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday for a private visit to Paris, France, before proceeding to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) Heads of State.
During his time in France, President Tinubu is expected to hold a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, where discussions on bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and regional security are likely to be on the agenda.
Following his visit to Paris, President Tinubu will travel to Addis Ababa early next week to join other African leaders at the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly, scheduled to take place from February 12th to 16th, 2025. The summit will focus on key issues affecting the African continent, including economic development, security, and regional integration.
