The Federal Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has entered into a strategic partnership with Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) to accelerate energy access across Nigeria.
The partnership was announced during the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where stakeholders reaffirmed their shared commitment to providing reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity to millions of Nigerians, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
Speaking at the summit, Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu emphasized that the partnership aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes energy sector reform, increased private sector participation, and the expansion of last-mile electrification.
Through the collaboration, Nigeria will benefit from technical assistance, financing support, and policy alignment strategies aimed at increasing access to clean energy and meeting the targets set in the country’s National Energy Transition Plan.
This marks another step forward in President Tinubu’s drive to modernize the nation’s energy infrastructure and ensure inclusive development through improved electricity access.
