Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening while on official duty along the Daura-Katsina Road. The incident, which caused momentary concern across the state, fortunately resulted in no serious injuries.

According to a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the accident occurred as the governor was performing his official responsibilities in service to the people of Katsina State.

“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.

Governor Radda, who has since been discharged from the hospital, expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for divine protection and extended his appreciation to the people of Katsina State and other well-wishers for their prayers and concern.

The government assured the public that the Governor remains in high spirits and continues to carry out his responsibilities with renewed dedication.
