Luis Enrique is set to stick closely to his established PSG setup for the Super Cup clash, with only minor adjustments from their Club World Cup final lineup. New signing Lucas Chevalier is expected to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal, with the Italian tipped to leave the club after failing to agree fresh terms. Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez return from suspension, while Warren Zaïre-Emery slots in for the suspended João Neves. Illia Zabarnyi could make the bench if registered in time, with the attack spearheaded by Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank faces notable absences, including James Maddison’s long-term ACL injury and the departure of Son Heung-min to LAFC. Destiny Udogie and Dominic Solanke are also ruled out, forcing Djed Spence into left-back duties. New signing João Palhinha is set for his competitive debut alongside Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr in midfield. Mohammed Kudus, another summer arrival, will start in attack with Brennan Johnson and Richarlison.

PSG are expected to dominate possession and exploit Spurs’ weakened defence, while Tottenham’s best chances may come on the counter through Kudus and Johnson. Given the firepower and stability of Enrique’s side, they remain favourites to lift the trophy.

Prediction: PSG 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur
