The Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Engineer Gbenga Komolafe, has called for an amicable resolution of the disagreement between the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the Dangote refinery.

Komolafe appealed to both parties to return to the negotiation table and settle their differences in the interest of national stability. He warned that any disruption in operations could affect product supply and impose unnecessary hardship on Nigerians.

The NUPRC boss assured that the commission will continue to engage stakeholders to ensure harmony in the sector and protect the welfare of citizens.
