

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday joined Muslim faithful at the Annual National Juma’at Zikr and Special Prayer organised by the Sheikh Usman Dahiru Bauchi Foundation in Abuja.
The Vice President participated in the prayers while attending the Friday Jumu’ah service, alongside religious leaders, government officials and other dignitaries.
The Sheikh Usman Dahiru Bauchi Foundation is recognised for promoting Islamic education, Qur’anic memorisation, Islamic culture and religious teachings.
During the event, the Vice President highlighted the importance of education in fostering national unity, social cohesion and sustainable development.
Among those in attendance were the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III; the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President (Office of the Vice President), Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia; the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari; the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu; former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; and other prominent leaders.
