The high-stakes reconciliation meeting between the management of the Dangote Refinery and leaders of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has been relocated to the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA).
Initially scheduled to take place at the Ministry of Labour and Employment, the meeting was shifted after several hours, with Labour Minister Mohammed Dingyadi and PENGASSAN officials moving to the NSA’s office for further deliberations.
The discussions are being held behind closed doors, with no immediate details released on the progress of negotiations. The shift underscores the gravity of the dispute, which has already sparked nationwide industrial action. More updates are expected as the meeting unfolds.
