President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a ten-day working visit that took him to Lagos, Imo, and Plateau States.

While in Lagos, the President met with leading investors, including Bayo Ogunlesi of Global Infrastructure Partners and Keem Belo-Osagie of Metis Capital Partners, to discuss opportunities in infrastructure and investment. He also received the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation, Mr Arsenio Dominguez, and restated his administration’s resolve to develop Nigeria’s maritime sector as a key economic driver.

Before Independence Day, the President visited Imo State to commission projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma and unveiled a book documenting ten years of APC governance in Nigeria. On October 1, he delivered the Independence Day broadcast from Dodan Barracks and inaugurated the refurbished National Theatre, now renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.

President Tinubu later attended the burial of Mama Lydia Yilwatda in Jos, where he paid tribute to her legacy and reaffirmed his commitment to unity, fairness, and inclusivity among all Nigerians.
