First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Thursday joined the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, the Minister of State for the FCT, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, and other dignitaries at the commissioning of the remodeled Abuja City Gate.

The event, held in Abuja, marked the official unveiling of the upgraded landmark, which serves as one of the capital city’s most recognisable entry points.

The remodeling forms part of ongoing efforts by the FCT Administration to enhance the aesthetics, infrastructure and overall appeal of the nation’s capital.

The ceremony attracted government officials, traditional leaders and other stakeholders who gathered to witness the commissioning of the renewed structure.

The Abuja City Gate remains a prominent symbol of the Federal Capital Territory and a key feature of the city’s landscape.
