VP Shettima declares open 31st Nigerian Economic Summit

Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has declared open the 31st Nigerian Economic Summit held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. The event, organised by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, is themed “The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030.”

In his remarks, the Vice President reaffirmed the Tinubu administration’s commitment to comprehensive economic reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, focused on stabilising the economy, boosting productivity, and promoting inclusive growth across all sectors. He noted that the administration is determined to create an environment that encourages investment, innovation, and sustainable development.

The summit brings together global leaders, senior government officials, business executives, economists, and development experts to forge partnerships and develop practical strategies for Nigeria’s economic transformation and long-term prosperity.
