GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Kicks Off in Dubai with 6,800 Exhibitors and AI in the Spotlight

GITEX GLOBAL 2025 officially opened on October 13 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together more than 6,800 exhibitors from 180 countries in one of the world’s largest technology and innovation gatherings. The five-day event was inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, highlighting the country’s growing influence as a global hub for digital transformation.

This year’s edition places artificial intelligence (AI) at the forefront, alongside cutting-edge innovations in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and smart cities. Major global players including Huawei, Oracle, and other leading tech firms are participating, while international pavilions from the European Union, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia showcase emerging technologies and national digital strategies.

As Dubai continues to position itself as a world leader in technology and innovation, GITEX serves as a key platform for collaboration and investment across industries. Organizers have confirmed that starting in 2026, the event will relocate to Expo City Dubai, expanding its capacity and aligning with the emirate’s broader vision to drive the next wave of AI-led economic growth.
