President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Senator Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, as he marks his birthday on October 16.

The President commended Senator Lado for his distinguished service to the nation in various capacities, including his tenure as Senator representing Kano Central from 2011 to 2015, and his leadership roles as Federal Commissioner at the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

President Tinubu also acknowledged the Senator’s dedication to fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the Executive arm and the Senate, noting that his diplomacy and wisdom have been instrumental in advancing national priorities. He prayed that Almighty Allah grants Senator Lado continued good health, wisdom, and strength in his service to Nigeria.
