President Tinubu Condoles with Tijjaniyya Movement Over Fatal Auto Crash

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to the Tijjaniyya Movement in Nigeria following a tragic auto crash that claimed the lives of 40 members. The accident occurred on Sunday as the group was traveling from Kwandari in Plateau State to a Mawlid Nabiy celebration in Saminaka, Kaduna State.

In a statement released on Tuesday by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed his sympathies to the families of the deceased and injured, as well as to the governments of Kaduna and Plateau states. He offered prayers for the souls of those who perished in the accident.

The President has also directed the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) to enhance highway monitoring and implement measures to reduce road accidents across the country. This directive aims to prevent future tragedies and improve road safety nationwide.
