Businessman and Politician, Sen. Ned Nwoko has publicly accused his wife, actress Regina Daniels, of drug and alcohol abuse, countering viral allegations of domestic violence that surfaced over the weekend.
The lawmaker made the claims in a Facebook post on Sunday titled “REGINA’S UNPROVOKED CARNAGE AND RAMPAGE IN MY HOUSE AND IN MY ABSENCE,” stating that substance abuse is the root of their marital problems.
The lawmaker explained that he had set conditions for Regina to undergo rehabilitation in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, particularly in Jordan, where she would have no access to drugs. Ned also alleged that during a recent family emergency, chaos erupted at their home, which he claimed was “orchestrated” by Sammy, described as Regina’s “main drug supplier,” and another individual identified as Ann.
He said, “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs. I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence.
The cause of the altercation remains unclear, as neither Regina nor her representatives have publicly responded to Nwoko’s allegations.
Regina Daniels, who married Nwoko in 2019, has often been in the public eye alongside the politician and businessman.
