The Honourable Minister of State for Finance, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, has called on Nigerians to imbue the ideals of patriotism, education, and public service as guiding principles for national development. She made this known in Abuja while receiving the Committee for the 6th Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe Annual Award Memorial Lecture, led by former Niger State Governor, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu.

Dr Uzoka-Anite stated that Dr Azikiwe’s legacy of unity, education, and national service remains timeless and should continue to inspire both leaders and citizens. She reaffirmed that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Ministry of Finance is committed to driving sound fiscal management, inclusive economic growth, and sustainable prosperity for all Nigerians.

The Minister expressed appreciation to President Tinubu, Governor Hope Uzodinma, and Zenith Bank Chairman Jim Ovia for their support and commitment to nation-building. In his remarks, Dr Aliyu commended the Minister for her integrity and contributions to financial stability, noting that her nomination for the Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe Award was unanimous and well-deserved.
