The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated 18-year-old Muhammad Aminu Sani for making history as one of Nigeria’s youngest commercial pilots.
Sani earned a United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot Licence from Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona Beach, Florida, after completing a rigorous training programme in less than 12 months, an achievement recorded without a single checkride failure, which is rare even among experienced trainees.
Dabiri-Erewa described Sani’s success as a shining example of the brilliance, resilience, and determination of young Nigerians breaking global boundaries. She noted that his accomplishment at such a young age reflects the limitless potential of Nigerian youths when provided with the right mentorship, opportunities, and support.
The NiDCOM Chairman commended Sani for his discipline and excellence, saying his achievement is a source of national pride and a beacon of hope for millions of young Nigerians aspiring to make their mark globally.
