The Senate has screened and confirmed Dr Bernard Mohammed Doro as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, following his nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last week.
Dr Doro, who hails from Plateau State, holds degrees in Pharmacy and Law, as well as master’s degrees in Business Strategy and Advanced Clinical Practice.
He becomes the third individual from Plateau State to be appointed as minister under the Tinubu administration.
The first appointee was Simon Lalong, who later won a court case and proceeded to the Senate. The second was Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, who vacated his ministerial position after being appointed National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
