Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has officially commissioned Nigeria’s first-ever large-scale prefabricated housing estate, a 100-unit development executed by Karmod Nigeria and developed by Family Homes.

Completed in under six months, the project showcases the potential of prefabricated construction to deliver high-quality, affordable homes at unprecedented speed, a significant improvement over traditional building methods that can take years.

Each unit is designed to last more than 50 years with routine maintenance and features modern amenities, including tarred access roads, efficient drainage systems, clean water supply, and reliable electricity.

Family Homes described the project as a milestone in Nigeria’s mass housing sector, demonstrating that innovative construction technology can accelerate the delivery of sustainable and cost-effective homes for Nigerians.
