NYSC Releases Call-Up Numbers For Batch C Prospective Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced that only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members, PCMs will be accommodated for the 2025 Batch C orientation exercise.

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Tuesday, the NYSC explained that the limited intake was due to camp capacity constraints across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the management, call-up numbers for the Batch C PCMs have already been released based on the order of registration.

It assured that those who are not selected for the current batch will be automatically moved to the next orientation programme, scheduled to follow soon after the Batch C exercise.

The NYSC reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth and hitch-free orientation exercise and service year for all corps members.

It wrote: “The NYSC Management is pleased to announce that, *call-up numbers* for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members has been released, based on registration order.

“Please note that due to camp capacity across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT, only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.

“Rest assured, those not accommodated will be automatically moved to the next Batch, which will take place soon after Batch C exercise.

Management remains committed to ensuring a hitch-free orientation exercise and service year experience for our PCMs.

For those unable to secure placement in Batch C, the NYSC assured them that they will be deferred to the next exercise.
