The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Tanimu Turaki, SAN, has announced the postponement of the party’s scheduled meeting following incidents caused by what he described as “enemies of progress and enemies of democracy.”

Turaki made the announcement while addressing the press at the PDP National Headquarters, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, in the company of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

According to the National Chairman, the disruptions created by certain individuals made it necessary for the party leadership to shift the meeting to tomorrow in order to maintain order and ensure a conducive atmosphere for deliberations.
