Vice President Kashim Shettima, on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited victims of the bomb explosion at Gamboru Market in Maiduguri, Borno State, to express the Federal Government’s sympathy and solidarity with those affected by the incident.

During the visit to the Muhammadu Buhari Trauma Centre at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, the Vice President met with victims receiving treatment and conveyed the President’s condolences to them and their families, assuring them of the Federal Government’s full support.

He described the attack as a tragic act of violence and reaffirmed the administration’s resolve to protect lives, strengthen security efforts, and ensure lasting peace in the region, while commending medical personnel for their swift and professional response.
