The Federal Government has emphasised that Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) weaken nations and undermine development.

Dr. Doris Anite-Uzoka, Minister of State for Finance, opened the UNECA Workshop on IFF Estimation, designed to equip institutions with tools such as PMC+, PFM+, and risk-based audits to tackle trade mis-invoicing and revenue leakages.

She stressed that fiscal integrity is national security, highlighting the importance of transparency, compliance, and strengthened institutional capacity in safeguarding Nigeria’s economy.
