The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has outlined key strategies aimed at securing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 presidential election, expressing confidence in the party’s preparedness and growing grassroots strength.
Yilwatda disclosed this in Abuja during the APC North-West Youth Mobilisation Meet-and-Greet programme, where he emphasized the central role of young people in the party’s future. He said the APC has deliberately shifted from elite-driven politics to inclusive participation, noting that youths now have a strong sense of ownership within the ruling party.
According to him, a major pillar of the party’s strategy is the deployment of an electronic membership registration system designed to onboard at least 10 million new members nationwide. He explained that the initiative would strengthen grassroots engagement, improve internal party organisation, and enhance data-driven mobilisation ahead of future elections.
The APC chairman further stated that internal cohesion, effective communication, and visible policy outcomes under the Tinubu administration remain critical to the party’s 2027 plan. He added that ongoing governance reforms and socio-economic interventions under the Renewed Hope Agenda are gradually rebuilding public confidence and positioning the party for electoral success.
