
The countdown is officially on for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, an event set to honor the most influential music of the past year — from chart-topping hits and viral TikTok anthems to boundary-pushing projects that have shaped global pop culture.
The 2026 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 1, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Viewers can watch the live broadcast on CBS from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PT), with streaming also available on Paramount+.
Before the main ceremony, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be held earlier that day at the Peacock Theater, beginning at 12:30 p.m. PT (3:30 p.m. ET). The event, where most Grammy categories are announced, will be hosted by first-time nominee Darren Criss, who will also perform. Additional performances are expected from Zara Larsson, Spiritbox, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard, while the opening number will feature Grace Potter, Israel Houghton, Lila Iké, Maggie Rose, and Trombone Shorty. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Recording Academy’s official website and YouTube channel.
Trevor Noah returns as host for the sixth and final time and will also serve as an executive producer for this year’s show.
Ahead of the telecast, the official pre-show, GRAMMY Live From The Red Carpet, will deliver exclusive interviews and fashion highlights, with Good Morning America also providing red carpet coverage across TikTok and Instagram.
The Recording Academy has announced an impressive lineup of performers for the night, including Lady Gaga, who is nominated in major categories such as album, song, and record of the year. Additional performers include Best New Artist nominees Addison Rae, KATSEYE, Olivia Dean, Alex Warren, Leon Thomas, The Marías, and sombr. Hip-hop duo Clipse, Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, and Sabrina Carpenter are also set to take the stage.
Special tribute performances will honor music legends, with Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark, and Lukas Nelson participating in the “In Memoriam” segment. Lauryn Hill will pay tribute to D’Angelo and Roberta Flack, while Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Slash will deliver a dedicated performance honoring Ozzy Osbourne.
The presenters list includes Grammy winners Harry Styles and Doechii, alongside notable figures such as Carole King, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Jeff Goldblum, Karol G, Lainey Wilson, Queen Latifah, Q-Tip, Nikki Glaser, and Teyana Taylor.
Kendrick Lamar leads this year’s nominations with nine nods, followed by Lady Gaga, Cirkut, and Jack Antonoff with seven each. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, and Serban Ghenea earned six nominations apiece. The Recording Academy also introduced two new categories this year: Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover.
Adding to the excitement, organizers have teased a surprise guest appearance set to present an award during the live show.
