The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has launched the 2025 National Health Facility Survey, a key step in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s health reform agenda. The survey provides a comprehensive assessment of service availability and system performance across Nigeria.
Minister of State Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako said the survey will guide targeted interventions, improve resource allocation, and support measurable improvements in primary healthcare, immunisation, maternal and child health, and health insurance coverage.
Permanent Secretary Daju Kachollom emphasised that reliable data allows the Ministry to plan better, act faster, and ensure reforms translate into real benefits for Nigerians. Development partners, including WHO and UNFPA, welcomed the initiative as critical to sustaining progress in health outcomes.
