President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched the Renewed Hope Enterprise Bridge Initiative, a new platform designed to provide a structured channel for continuous engagement between the Federal Government and entrepreneurs across Nigeria.

Speaking at the official unveiling of the initiative at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, the President—represented by the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila—said the administration recognises the critical role entrepreneurs play in national development and the need to close the gap between policymakers and business operators.

He noted that the initiative is aimed at addressing the long-standing disconnect between policy design and real-world business experiences, stressing that effective governance must be informed by practical feedback from the private sector.

According to the President, policies must translate into measurable improvements in how businesses start, grow, and compete, adding that continuous engagement and responsive adjustments remain central to the administration’s economic approach.

President Tinubu also commended Nigerian entrepreneurs for sustaining the economy despite challenging operating conditions, assuring them of the government’s commitment to creating a more enabling environment for business growth.

The Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, highlighted the potential of the creative and digital economy, describing them as key drivers of foreign investment and entrepreneurship growth under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

She noted that ongoing reforms in infrastructure and policy are aimed at boosting investor confidence and unlocking opportunities within the sector.

In her remarks, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Entrepreneurship Development, Chalya Shagaya, said President Tinubu’s administration remains committed to placing entrepreneurs at the centre of economic planning, especially in the drive toward a trillion-dollar economy.

She added that the initiative reflects the administration’s belief that enterprise development must be continuously supported through deliberate and sustained engagement.

The event, themed “Hustle Meets Policy,” brought together stakeholders from the entrepreneurial ecosystem and government officials focused on strengthening collaboration for economic growth.
