The Deputy Senate President, Dr. Barau Jibril Maliya, has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election, expressing optimism over the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s chances in the upcoming polls.

In a statement, he said he signed the President’s nomination form with “honour and optimism for victory,” noting that the document was presented to him in Abuja by Hon. James Faleke.

He reaffirmed confidence in the President’s re-election bid and the party’s overall performance across all levels of government.

“Insha Allah, the President will emerge victorious in the presidential election; and we will also coast to victory in the National Assembly elections on January 16, as well as the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly polls slated for February 6, 2027,” he stated.

Maliya further described the APC as “the largest political party in Africa,” adding that it would continue to strengthen and work for the benefit of Nigerians.
