The Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum, has formally presented the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the state, Engr. Mustapha Gubio, to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting, held earlier today, forms part of ongoing consultations and political engagements within the ruling party ahead of the next electoral cycle.

During the presentation, Governor Zulum introduced Gubio as the party’s flag bearer and expressed confidence in his capacity to sustain development efforts in Borno State and strengthen the party’s political structure in the state.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received the delegation and interacted with party leaders in what is seen as a strategic meeting aimed at reinforcing unity and coordination within the APC.

Engr. Mustapha Gubio, recently emerged as the APC governorship candidate for Borno State, was formally presented as the party’s choice to continue its governance agenda in the state.

The visit highlights continued political consultations and alignment between state-level leaders and the national leadership of the party.
