The council comprises serving governors, former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other prominent party leaders drawn from across the country.
The APC said the council is expected to coordinate campaign activities and mobilise support for the party’s candidate in the election.
The party also announced the establishment of several sub-committees to oversee critical aspects of the campaign process.
The sub-committees include Election Planning and Management, Finance and Resource Mobilisation, Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation, Logistics and Campaign Management, Protocol, Media and Publicity, Security, Women’s Mobilisation, Youth Mobilisation, and Secretariat Functions.
According to the APC, the committees were carefully constituted to ensure effective coordination and smooth execution of campaign activities across the state.
