The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure overwhelming support across Northern Nigeria in the 2027 presidential election.

Matawalle attributed his optimism to the administration’s efforts in tackling insecurity, improving infrastructure, and implementing economic reforms aimed at enhancing the welfare of Nigerians. He noted that the President’s policies and programmes are beginning to yield positive results, particularly in the northern region.

According to the minister, ongoing security operations have helped restore stability in several communities, enabling farmers and businesses to resume their activities. He also highlighted various federal government projects being executed across the North as evidence of the administration’s commitment to regional development.

Matawalle maintained that the people of Northern Nigeria recognise the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda and would continue to support President Tinubu’s leadership. He urged political stakeholders and citizens to remain united in supporting efforts aimed at strengthening national security, economic growth, and sustainable development.
