Police Bust ₦50m Kidnap Plot Against Chinese Businessman, Arrest Two

The Ogun State Police Command has thwarted a planned kidnapping of a Chinese national and arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the plot.

According to police authorities, the suspects had allegedly conspired to abduct the foreign businessman and demand a ransom of ₦50 million for his release. Investigators revealed that one of the suspects was employed as the victim’s driver and is believed to have used his access and knowledge of the businessman’s movements to facilitate the planned abduction.
