The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his re-election as Governor of Ekiti State, describing his victory as a strong endorsement of his leadership and policies.

In a statement, the party said Oyebanji’s re-election marks a historic moment as he becomes the first incumbent governor to secure consecutive victory in Ekiti State’s contemporary democratic history.

The APC said the outcome reflects the confidence of the people in the governor’s leadership style, people-centred policies and commitment to the development of the state.

The party also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies and other stakeholders for what it described as the successful conduct of the election.

It further praised the people of Ekiti State for their peaceful conduct and active participation during the electoral process, expressing appreciation for their continued support for the party and its progressive agenda.

The APC expressed confidence that Governor Oyebanji’s second term will bring further development and improved living standards for residents of the state, while also advancing the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
