The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as one of its most valued and strategic political assets.
The party said it has no intention of “trading” or losing the former Rivers State governor to any other political platform, regardless of political speculation or external pressure.
According to the PDP, Wike remains an important figure within the party due to his experience, influence and longstanding contributions to its growth and electoral strength.
The statement comes amid ongoing political discussions about alignments and internal dynamics within the opposition party ahead of future elections.
The PDP reiterated its commitment to unity and strengthening its internal structures while maintaining key political figures who have played significant roles in the party’s history.
