Tinubu Hails Rescue of Abducted Oyo Schoolchildren, Commends Security Forces

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Nigeria’s security forces following the successful rescue of children and teachers abducted by Ansaru terrorists in Oyo State.

In a statement, the President said the victims were rescued alive and unharmed, stressing that no ransom was paid and no concession was made to the kidnappers.

Tinubu praised the courage, discipline and professionalism of the security personnel involved in the operation, describing the rescue as a testament to their dedication and commitment to protecting Nigerians.

The President also reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to tackle terrorism and insecurity across the country.

He warned those involved in acts of terror that the Nigerian state would continue to pursue them relentlessly until peace and security are fully restored.

President Tinubu assured Nigerians that his administration remains committed to protecting lives, defending communities and strengthening national security through sustained operations against criminal and terrorist groups.
