President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria joined world leaders on Monday at the Joint Islamic-Arab Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to address the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Tinubu underscored the need for urgent, peaceful resolutions and called on global and regional actors to recommit to a two-state solution that respects the rights and security of both Israelis and Palestinians.

During his address, Tinubu expressed Nigeria’s commitment to peace in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and mutual respect. He highlighted the humanitarian toll of the conflict, urging immediate action to safeguard civilian lives and provide aid to those affected.

“Our shared humanity requires us to seek solutions that go beyond immediate ceasefires,” Tinubu stated. “Nigeria stands with all who advocate for peace and the creation of lasting frameworks for coexistence.”
