The President made these remarks during his first Presidential Media Chat held on Monday, December 23, in Ikoyi, Lagos.

“2025 is a very promising year,” Tinubu said, emphasizing his commitment to the nation. “Let me thank Nigerians for having confidence in me to be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I’m very proud of that.”

The President assured citizens that their trust in his leadership would not be taken for granted, reaffirming his dedication to serving the country wholeheartedly. “It is all about service. I will do it with all my heart. I seek your cooperation all the time,” he added.

Acknowledging the economic hardships experienced across the nation, Tinubu called for patience and unity as his administration continues its efforts to address these challenges. “I seek your understanding. I understand the trouble you’ve been through—the economic problems. It is just 18 months since I’ve taken the reins. We’ll maintain focus,” the President said.

He encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful, promising a brighter future for the country. “Let’s believe in ourselves and in our country; tomorrow will bring a glorious dawn.”

Tinubu’s remarks come as his administration navigates pressing economic issues, including inflation and unemployment, amid growing calls for tangible solutions. His assurances signal a commitment to driving reforms aimed at fostering long-term stability and prosperity.

The President’s optimistic outlook for 2025 is expected to resonate with citizens seeking relief and progress, as the government works to fulfill its promises of a stronger and more inclusive economy.
