Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has commended the unveiling of the 2023–2025 Compendium on Constituency and Zonal Intervention Projects, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery across the country.
Represented by the Wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima, at the launch ceremony in Abuja, the First Lady said the publication reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that public resources are utilized in ways that directly improve the lives of Nigerians, particularly at the grassroots level.
She noted that constituency and zonal intervention projects remain vital tools for bridging the gap between government and citizens by delivering visible and impactful development in communities nationwide. According to her, the compendium serves as evidence of sound policy implementation, institutional collaboration, and the administration’s resolve to translate its development agenda into measurable outcomes.
Senator Tinubu also called on legislators, implementing agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to sustain their commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the execution of intervention projects.
The compendium was unveiled by the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs as part of efforts to improve project monitoring, documentation, and oversight while promoting public confidence in government interventions.
The event brought together government officials, lawmakers, development partners, and other stakeholders to review progress made in the implementation of constituency and zonal intervention projects and to explore ways of enhancing project delivery across Nigeria.
